Planning my own wedding: the turning point
When I organized my own wedding, I discovered a real passion for the wedding world. At that time, I was looking for more meaning in my professional life, so I started researching wedding careers. Since I had always loved organization and decoration, I naturally turned toward the professions of wedding planner and wedding designer.
From veterinarian to Wedding Planner
My Wedding Planner / Designer agency
Alice L Wedding is a wedding planning and design agency. I am based in Val-de-Marne and offer my services to couples getting married in the Paris region and in Paris. I am also comfortable in English and would be delighted to work with English-speaking couples. I offer full planning, vendor sourcing or consulting services for couples who simply need a little help.
For decoration, I offer scenography services and support throughout the preparations, including the setup of the decor for the wedding. The planning and decoration services can of course be combined for the same event. I cannot wait to begin my first season.
What I love about this profession
Bringing happiness to people and supporting them in planning what will be one of the most important moments of their lives. I love being able to suggest original ideas they might not have thought of. For the decor side, I love enhancing a venue, bringing a desired theme to life, and searching for all the elements that will add that little extra touch.
Seeing stars in their eyes when they discover their wedding venue is the most beautiful reward.
What IWI brought me
A clearer understanding of these two professions. To me, even if they are not regulated professions, they cannot be improvised. IWI gave me the foundations to start my business calmly and with more confidence.
Thanks to the program, I also learned how to set up my business, which is very helpful when you do not already have a background in that area.
Finally, IWI provided me with valuable working tools that will support me throughout my career.
