From nursing to wedding stationery design
Becoming a wedding stationery designer was the result of several years of reflection. Weddings had long been a passion of mine. I first qualified and worked as a nurse, a profession I admire, yet it only took a short experience for me to realize that it was not ultimately my vocation. Still, the skills and qualities required in that profession helped me grow professionally and carry out my reflections.
I then began a career change by returning to my studies to become a management assistant. I worked in that role in a large-format printing company, where I interacted every day with graphic designers. That is when I knew. I knew that this field particularly appealed to me. I created communication materials for work, such as brochures, websites and email campaigns, but also on a personal level: business cards, flyers and much more.
Little by little, a certainty took hold of me. Why not continue on this path as a graphic designer and combine it with my work as a management assistant and my passion for weddings? That is how the idea for my stationery business was born.

Going back to school
I have always been passionate and dreamy, and it was by taking part in the weddings of various loved ones that I confirmed my choice to become a wedding stationery designer. By creating, for them, this long-awaited celebration fully in their image and for everyone’s happiness, it became my vocation, my new adventure, a dream come true. But to become an expert in my field, I went back to school once again.
I first completed a graphic designer certification over eighteen months, then followed several wedding design programs, including the one offered by the International Wedding Institute. After several years of preparation, Crealyna finally came to life at the beginning of 2022.
Overcoming my barriers
My first difficulty came from my temperament. Naturally reserved, I was afraid I would not manage to overcome my shyness. This lack of self-confidence is still present today, but I can say that loving what I do has been enough to help me move past those barriers. I grow a little more every day in what I do, and Crealyna grows with me.
Another difficulty came from having to work alongside this entrepreneurial project. It is not always easy to find the time needed to carry a project through when you work full time. It therefore took me longer, but when the motivation is there, everything eventually happens.
My creative studio
My creative studio is based in Normandy, a region I love and that breathes well-being. My mission is to support future brides and grooms through stationery created or selected in their image, and to bring their projects to life, even the most unimaginable ones. I create invitations and wedding day stationery through customizable collections or fully bespoke designs.
Every detail of the stationery is carefully considered, creating a common thread across all the desired pieces: invitations, seating plans and table names, menus, place cards, welcome signs, photobooth backdrops, thank-you cards, adhesive lettering and much more.
What the program brought me
Training was, for me, a crucial step. The IWI program gave me a lot of knowledge in wedding design.
Even though I specialize in stationery, having a general understanding of wedding design is essential in order to advise future brides and grooms in the best possible way.
It was a top-quality program with Anne-Marie Mecheri, who was always available to advise me whenever I needed it.
