How I came up with the idea of becoming a Wedding & Floral Designer
I have always loved the floral world and decorating venues for events. I like turning an idea into reality and contributing to the success of important moments in people's lives. When I turned thirty, I took time to reflect on what I wanted to build for myself, something that would bring me pleasure and not feel like work.
My background before getting started
For a long time I dreamed of working in textiles and fashion. I have a BTS in fashion design and worked in that field, but because career opportunities were difficult, I then moved into retail and later insurance before finally launching myself into my passion profession.
My agency
Fleurs de Lion is first and foremost about passion, with people placed even before decoration. My concept is to offer the client a single point of contact who manages the whole coherent vision of their temporary decor: floral design, decor rental, and the creation of unique personalized items.

What I love about my job
What I enjoy most is reinventing and imagining settings for each client, and being able to propose something unique even with colors that have already been seen or a familiar atmosphere. I love contributing to the creation of memories.
My biggest day-to-day challenge
Organization. It is not my strength — perhaps the Achilles heel of creative people. I create tools for myself, I take notes, I ask other entrepreneurs for advice, and I listen to inspiring podcasts.
What I am most proud of
Starting from nothing, earning my florist qualification at the age of thirty-two with a baby only a few months old, despite health issues, and achieving a great result. I am proud of not giving up and of always looking for solutions when things are difficult.
My best memories
This year I supported a couple for more than a year. They were my first clients of the season and they were full of praise for the service and for me as a person, which touched me deeply. The three of us were very emotional the day after the wedding. The bride told me she was pregnant that autumn and shared her gender reveal video with me. I also remember our first shoot with my wedding planner friend: a double-theme inspiration shoot when the activity resumed after Covid, a real challenge with models and many vendors. We were very proud of the result and grateful for everyone's work.
What IWI brought me
A strong foundation.
