How I came up with the idea of becoming a Wedding Planner / Designer
I have always been passionate about events. From a very young age, I was already organizing family parties and birthdays for my loved ones. I discovered the profession of wedding planner during one of my first internships in a hotel, and it immediately felt obvious.
My background before getting started
I worked for more than ten years as an event manager in luxury hospitality all around the world and organized many different types of events, including seminars, conferences, banquets, weddings, christenings and baby showers. After completing the IWI program in 2022 and after the birth of my daughter, I finally decided to start out as an independent wedding planner and designer.
The difficulties I faced before getting started
My agency is still very new, and for now the main challenge is finding my place among the many offers on the Swiss and international market. I am lucky to have family and a partner who support me in this project. It is important to be supported, especially in the first few months. This profession requires a lot of patience and perseverance.

Ode à l’Amour is the beginning of a whole new adventure. It is my personality, my passion, my motivation and my love of love all gathered together in one name and one business.
What I love about my job
It is much more than a job to me, it is a true passion. Organizing events and weddings has always felt natural: attention to detail, personalization, decoration, coordination, human connection and sharing. I feel fully fulfilled in every event I organize. Being alongside future brides and grooms and bringing their dream to life while supporting them throughout this beautiful adventure is a real privilege.
What IWI brought me
The IWI program allowed me to refine my knowledge in wedding planning and to gain the confidence I needed to finally take the leap. The materials provided and the many exercises completed throughout both programs, Wedding Planner and Wedding Designer, are a real help when starting my activity as an independent entrepreneur.
